As part of world mental health day, Mental Health for Young People will have over 40+ organisations & speakers on hand to provide guidance, resources & support for young people dealing with mental health. If you are a parent, grandparent, guardian or teacher, this exhibition & seminar will help you help young people!
Mental health problems affect about 1 in 10 children and young people. They include depression, anxiety and conduct disorder, and are often a direct response to what is happening in their lives. Alarmingly, however, 70% of children and young people who experience a mental health problem have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age.
Whether your child is experiencing mental health issues, you are worried about someone else, or you are interested in how to stay mentally healthy, this event will offer you the support you are seeking!
