SME of the Year


  • Entrants must demonstrate they are a SME via organisation size/turnover upon entry

  • Entrants must demonstrate measurable evidence of best-practice via diagnostics

Near Patient Testing


  • Entries must demonstrate near patient testing in a community care environment

  • Entries must cite evidence in either patient re-admission / economic / health improvements

  • Entries must highlight how design has influenced improved evidence within the equipment

  • Entrants must cite examples of where design has been implemented in a 'real-life' scenario, not at just research stage



  • Entrants must demonstrate where effective purchasing has enabled diagnostic procurement

  • Entries should cite evidence of how a business case was developed effectively to enable diagnostics to be procured



  • Entries should cite evidence on how the research was utilised by a health professional, industry or academic to improve diagnostic usage

  • Entries can utilise future modelling and data predictions within their entry on a research project not yet completed

Pilot of the Year


  • Entrants should include the data results from the pilot where completed

  • Entrant should provide clear information on the partners involved in the pilot

Laboratory of the year


  • Entries should demonstrate clear impact of disease prevention through molecular based diagnostics

Awards Submission

Awards entry is open until the 1st of November 2019.
